There's now a dedicated page for Businessmedia, our specialist service providing finance news bulletins to a network of close to 90 stations across the UK, and ensuring relevant consumer related news reaches our audience.

The other major development is that of our Social Media page, which you can find in the About sub menu. Here we explain our vision on how to meet ever growing demand as a brand, whilst maximising the interactions through Twitter, Facebook etc.

Be sure to check it out and if you're a brand or radio station interested in our services, click Contact for information on how to get in touch with us.

Oh, and make sure you catch the Ultimate Sport Podcast on here tomorrow. We'll have a full preview of the Champions League Final and reflect on the England squad for Euro 2012.

The big question is whether or not Man City will win against QPR and secure their first league title since 1968, whilst there's extra impetus in the race for third spot, with Chelsea in next weekend's Champions League Final potentially claiming a place in next season's competition at 4th's expense.

Sportsmedia Broadcasting, the UK's leading provider of bespoke radio sports bulletins is delighted to announce an agreement with Planet Rock to provide it with bespoke sports news bulletins.

Sportsmedia’s programming will slot live and directly into Planet Rock’s output across breakfast and drivetime across the UK seven days a week.

The studio-based broadcasts will also contain live on-site reports from major sports events and interview clips with a who’s who of sport.

As always, Sportsmedia’s sponsorship clients will wholly support the bulletins. The company's staff skilfully broadcast commercial messages within the editorial environment of each bulletin, thus delivering high attention messaging without compromising the information or reporting.

Commenting on the deal, Jonny Gould, CEO, Sportsmedia Broadcasting Ltd. said

"We are really delighted to have Planet Rock in our network. It consolidates our ability to broadcast into the country's most populous regions. We can therefore broadcast to both a selective and broad demographic of population by request."

"As we broadcast to stations throughout the UK, we reach a combined audience larger than any single national station. By definition, the stations serve their local audiences in a more personal way, thereby offering us unique opportunities to drill down into each community like no other national network can offer."

“Planet Rock’s proven and successful format deserves the best we can offer and we look forward to providing a service worthy of it.”

Trevor White, Programme Director, Planet Rock commented:

"When we decided to make a further commitment to our sports output on Planet Rock, without compromising our music position, we had set ourselves a challenging task.

Making sure we could deliver the latest information to sports fans and keep the balance of rock music just right, was our obvious concern. So we are delighted to form an alliance with Sportsmedia.  This means we can be sure of top flight updates, compiled and delivered professionally in a style that compliments our regular daily output.

We are already enjoying the benefits of working with Sportsmedia and the reaction from listeners at this early stage is very welcoming."

We'll hear an extended interview with Stuart Lancaster, after he was confirmed as England's full time Rugby Union coach, having guided the side to 2nd in the Six Nations during his temporary charge.

Things continue to go badly for England's cricket team. The world's number 1 Test side has suffered its fourth straight defeat, having succumbed to a 75-run loss in the First Test against Sri Lanka. That follows a 3-0 whitewash against Pakistan earlier in the year.

And in football there's an important round of games at the top and bottom of the league. Can City maintain their 100% home record to keep the pressure on United? Can Wolves end a horrific run of 1 win in 16 games when they host Bolton?

Dan & Kev discuss and debate all the week's big news.

An action-packed edition this week as we have a first-hand eyewitness account of Fabrice Muamba's shocking collapse from our own Kevin Hatchard, who was reporting for radio at the time.

We look ahead to the Premier League as the top-of-the-table war of words continues between Manchester's City and United, with Patrick Vieira claiming Sir Alex Ferguson's decision to bring Paul Scholes out of retirement showed "desperation" on their part.

There's a full Formula 1 preview, along with Charlie's post-Cheltenham thoughts and for cricket fans there's news of England's tour of Sri Lanka as well as a great initiative to get involved with at your local cricket clubs.
