talkSPORT Radio will broadcast live from Sportsmedia's studio facilities in the early hours of the 17th November. The six-hour Extra Time show will come from Queen's Park for the first time.

The national commercial station has turned to Sportsmedia, whose CEO Jonny Gould is also a presenter. talkSPORT's engineering department is preparing for a final planned outage of their standby mains electricity forcing the station to temporarily relocate.

The deal was agreed between Jonny and Steve Morgan, talkSPORT''s deputy programme director ensuring presenter Russ Hargreaves and producer Olly Hunter can stay in London to make the programme, instead of temporarily locating to another UTV-owned facility in Wigan.

The programme will be made and broadcast from Sportsmedia and sent live on ISDN to talkSPORT's transmission.

Jonny Gould CEO of Sportsmedia said, "It's a pleasure to help friends in the business Steve and Liam Fisher to help keep talkSPORT's programmers together more locally".

"We use our own studios everyday for syndicating live sports and finance bulletins to hundreds of stations and make podcasts for a multitude of clients. To host a live national sports show from here is another feather in our cap"
